Boeing To Host Safety Conference With Nigerian Airlines
The Sales Director for Africa at Boeing Company, Mr. Moore Ibekwe says his organization, which is a major aircraft manufacturer, intends to hold conferences with Nigerian airline operators as part of efforts to help them grow in capacity.
Speaking today at the conference on “Convention Of International Interests In Mobile Equipment And The Protocol On Matters Specific To Aircraft Equipment” organized in Abuja by the Federal Ministry of Aviation & Aerospace Development in collaboration with the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Ibekwe said Boeing had held a conference with Air Peace recently, adding that the airlines in Nigeria have prospects of good governance.
He said with government support and the presence of airlines with good corporate governance, “Nigeria can have the most vibrant aviation sector in the continent.”
He pledged to do all within his powers as a Nigerian to support the agenda of the Federal Ministry of Aviation & Aerospace Development and the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
