AVSEC: What BASL Is Doing At MMA2 By Oguta

The Head of Aviation Security at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), Monica Oguta says “at MMA2, we continue to adopt a proactive and intelligence-led approach to aviation security, enhancing access control protocols, strengthening personnel training, and integrating technology through our CCTV and surveillance architecture.”
Delivering a Goodwill Message at the high-level Symposium on the Fundamentality of Aviation Security in Achieving the Safe-Skies Goal held in Lagos, Oguta said Murtala Muhammed Airport2 (MMA2) aligns “with the “Safe-Skies Goal” by maintaining compliance with ICAO and NCAA standards, fostering stakeholder coordination, and responding swiftly to threats.”
“Our achievements in recertification, internal quality control, and inter- agency cooperation are a testament to this. We believe that sustainable aviation security is only possible through shared commitment,” she said, commending the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority “for its consistency in convening collaborative forums like this, critical to our collective vision for a safe and resilient air transport system.”
