Keyamo, AON To Meet Lawmakers Over Proposed Tax Regime
The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) and the Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN) are to meet with members of the National Assembly Committees on Aviation to discuss and review the proposed tax laws of the present administration and how they would affect airlines in the country.
Vice Chairman of AON, Dr. Allen Onyema who disclosed this while speaking at the celebration of 100 Years of civil Aviation in Nigeria, held at Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja said if the proposed tax policies are implemented the way they are, most local airlines in Nigeria will not survive.
He commended airline operators that Nigeria has had in the past for serving and sustaining the industry amidst challenges.
