House Of Reps Committee On Aviation Technology, Pledges Support For NCAT

The Chairman, House OF Representatives Committee on Aviation Technology, Honourable Tajudeen Kareem Abisodu has applauded the contributions of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, (NCAT) Zaria to the fortunes of the Nigeria and global aviation industry, assuring of his committee’s commitment to supporting the college in addressing its major challenges.
Abisodun made this applauds when he led the Committee on an oversight visit and facility tour of college. While commending the Rector, he also assured that his committee would carefully study the detailed presentation made by the Rector; with a view to ascertaining priority areas of interventions.
The Rector Chief Executive, Dr Danjuma A. Ismaila and his entire management team warmly received the Committee members and the Rector seized the opportunity to appraise for the team the strategic position of the college in churning out a great percentage of the aviation industry workforce and professionals in the country.
He appreciated the generous commitment shown by the Honorable Minister of Aviation, Olorogun Festus Keyamo (SAN) and other predecessor administrations in the success story of the institution. He appealed for the continued kind assistance of the committee in ensuring the improvement of budgetary allocations and funding for the college and bemoaned the poor wage profile of the college staff. This, he attributed to as major reason for the prevalent attrition and poaching of her trained personnel by sister agencies and the industry sector with higher salary remunerations.
He assured the committee of his administration’s plans to harness the college immense potentials to gain maximum benefits for the College and the aviation industry.
