ASKY Welcomes Aircraft ET-BBB Return To Service Following Major Structural Repairs
ASKY has announced the return to service of Boeing 737 aircraft ET-BBB, following an extensive heavy maintenance and structural repair programme successfully completed by Ethiopian MRO.
The aircraft, which sustained some structural damage during the incidents at Niamey International Airport on January 29, 2026, has undergone several months of specialized repair and maintenance. Its return to Lomé marks a significant milestone for ASKY and reflects the successful completion of a demanding technical recovery programme.

The restoration of ET-BBB required extensive heavy maintenance and structural repair work, demanding the highest levels of engineering precision, coordination, and adherence to all applicable aviation safety and maintenance standards and regulations.
