Guinea-Conakry Airport Targets Three Million Passenger Capacity
The General Manager of Ahmed Sekou Toure International Airport, Mr. Namory Camara says the airport is working to increase its capacity to three million passengers per year.
He said the airport which is currently undergoing a major expansion and upgrade has its first phase valued at $27 million and will be delivered by end of September 2023.
The project is being executed under a Private Public Partnership (PPP) arrangement in an airport that in 2022, recorded 35% of its passenger traffic from Europe, Asia and the Chinese market. 35% of its 2022 passenger traffic was 600,000 passengers.
