Air Peace To Commence Lagos-Congo, Abuja-London Flights 2025, Expands Fleet

Air Peace says it will commence flights to Congo before the end of 2025 while Abuja-Heathrow flights will begin on October 26, 2025 following an approval by the British Authorities.

Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema who stated this while addressing journalists in Lagos yesterday, said the airline also plans to commence daily Lagos-London flights and add flights from Abuja to London Gatwick thereafter, adding that from September 2025, Air Peace will operate daily flights to other Carribean nations, having flown to Jamaica and Antiga.

He also said the airline will start scheduled flights to Jeddah after the Hajj and scheduled flights to China on a yet to be determined date, while flights to South Africa will be operated with Boeing 737NG from July 2025.

Onyema said the airline is also expanding its fleet further and has increased B777 fleet to four as another B777 is being painted in Europe after which it will be received in July.

He said Air Peace, which presently has 15 aircraft in service, with three set aside as buffer against delays and cancellations, has bought over 36 airplanes on outright purchase and has four wet-leased aircraft. Adding its new orders will up its total fleet beyond 50.

According to him, Air Peace B777s are maintained by Israeli Aerospace Industries, which provides the most expensive maintenance service in the world while the airline’s  Embraers are maintained by the manufacturers. He added that 16 Embraer2 jets have been ordered while five have been delivered.

He said Air Peace is the first airline in Nigeria to have obtained approval of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and that the airline enjoys spare parts support from AJ Walter in the United Kingdom while it has signed partnership agreements with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure a reliable maintenance programme.
