New ATSSSAN Chairman, FAAN Branch Commits To Members’ Unity, Sustained Vibrancy Of FAAN
The new Chairman of Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association (ATSSSAN), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) branch, Comrade Seyin Akinkunmi has stated commitment to unity of members, adding that “this period of ATSSSAN FAAN Branch is a promising time of negotiations and goal-oriented meetings/actions on the sustainability and vibrancy of FAAN as an aviation organization and our staff welfare and working conditions. There will be no deviation from the former administration of Comr. Ahmadu Danjuma,”
In his acceptance speech after the election, Akinkunmi thanked the “immediate past Branch EXCO, Our NEC, and the entire stakeholders who took out time to ensure that this wonderful, peaceful and rancor-free electoral process achieved its desired results. I will not treat all the sacrifices you have made with levity and I wish to assert my commitment and dedication to our campaign statement: THE ONE-FAMILY ATSSSAN FOR FAAN STAFF WELFARE AND FAAN SUSTAINABILITY.”
He said his “sincere belief is in the UNITY of ATSSSAN FAAN Branch and I am committed to all members of ATSSSAN FAAN across the Nigerian Airports and all our matters are family issues and shall be handled with all element of oneness.
The election is over and the call to ATSSSAN UNITY AND GOVERNANCE is now on our shoulders” adding that he “emerged as the ATSSSAN FAAN Branch Chairman for the Branch and Chapters. I will therefore ensure an all-inclusive administration.”
“Moreover, we shall join our efforts together with our National Secretariat and other sister unions when need be on germane issues that will catapult and consolidate FAAN in her playing the critical roles in the dynamic aviation industry.
