Kwankwaso, Former Governor, Defence Minister Endorses Air Peace For Exceptional Service
Nigeria’s Former Governor and Defence Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso FNSE FNIQS, has lauded Air Peace for its outstanding service and warm hospitality during his recent flight from Lagos to London.
The prominent political figure, who was highly impressed with the airline’s performance, expressed his preference for Air Peace, stating, “Very wonderful takeoff, smooth landing, and of course, a very comfortable environment” and recommending the airline to fellow Nigerians and international travelers.
The commendation was not limited to the flight itself; Kwankwaso was particularly pleased with the affordability of the airline’s fares, noting that Air Peace offers competitive rates compared to other airlines on the same route.
This public praise from such a high-profile figure underlines the growing reputation of Air Peace as a leading player in Nigeria’s aviation industry. Air Peace, which recently began operating its Lagos-London route, has received numerous positive reviews from passengers, but Kwankwaso’s endorsement provides further credibility to the airline’s international ambitions. He encouraged other Nigerians, and even non-Nigerians, to consider Air Peace for their travels, reinforcing the notion that the airline is not just a national pride but a formidable competitor on the global stage.
In his remarks, Kwankwaso called on Air Peace to invest in more robust marketing efforts, emphasizing that many people are still unaware of the airline’s international services. He expressed confidence that with greater publicity, more passengers would choose Air Peace for their travels.
He further suggested expanding the airline’s routes to include more cities across Nigeria, specifically Abuja and Kano, where he believes there is high demand. “In Kano, we have many passengers that will be very happy flying this airline,” he said.
Furthermore, Kwankwaso took the opportunity to acknowledge the visionary leadership of Air Peace’s Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema. He commended Onyema’s relentless efforts to establish international connections for Nigeria, lauding his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to elevating the nation’s aviation sector.
“I congratulate the Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema, who is a very good entrepreneur working hard to ensure we have international routes to other places from Nigeria,” he remarked.
Air Peace continues to cement its position as a leading carrier in Nigeria, providing both local and international travelers with top-notch service, as reflected in Kwankwaso’s commendation.
This endorsement from a prominent figure like Kwankwaso is expected to further boost the airline’s reputation and attract more passengers on its international routes.
Recall in 2019, Air Peace airlifted 475 students sponsored by Kwankwaso’s Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation to Dubai and India for postgraduate studies, further cementing the relationship between the airline and Kwankwaso’s initiatives.
