Industry Player Calls On Government To Support Airlines

The Head of Operations, Bi-courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), Mr. Blessing Ewah has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to support airlines because of their role in the survival of airports.
Speaking during a press parley held at the Board Room Space at MMA2 Training Academy in Lagos, Ewah said “BASL will continue to live that promise, with the hope that the FGN will because of the success of the MMA2 Terminal, encourage more private sector participation in airport management in Nigeria. The survival of airport infrastructure the world over, is directly tied to the success of airlines, and in today’s clime, and with the difficulties of running an airline in Nigeria, we need the FGN to deliberately find means of supporting the airline industry in Nigeria to be sustainable and successful.”
Ewah further said “aviation, after all, is a global driver of economies, and Nigeria today, needs our economy to thrive.”
