FNAC Designed To Encourage Stakeholders’ Contributions To Industry, Says FAAN MD

The Managing Director/Chief Executive of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt. Hamisu Yadudu says the idea behind the FAAN National Aviation Conference (FNAC) was driven by FAAN’s intention to provide an opportunity for all aviation stakeholders to contribute their ideas on how the industry can grow.
Speaking in a chart with aviation journalists over the weekend, Yadudu said invitations had been sent out to various stakeholders, including airlines, caterers, handlers, service consumers and anyone that is involved in aviation business to “come and speak out. Make your contributions on how the system can improve.”
“We have already paid for the platform. All expenses have been paid. You don’t have to pay. Just come and make your input,” he said.
He said the FNAC platform was created in order to fill communication gaps among stakeholders and enable exchange of ideas and collaboration to help the industry succeed, adding that it is an annual industry event that would be progressively helpful in the future.
The maiden edition of FNAC was held in 2022, under the theme, “Advancing The Frontiers Of Possibilities For Safe, Secure And Profitable Air Transport.” This year’s edition has been scheduled for May 15 to 18, 2023 at International Conference Centre, Abuja.
