Dana Air To Improve The Capacity Of Engineers, Wins Award

The Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Mr. Obi Mbanuzuo says the airline is currently making an effort to improve the capacity of its engineers.
Speaking after a conference organized by the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) on 28th June, at the NAF Conference Center Kado, Abuja where Dana received the Most Innovative Airline Award, Mbanuzuo said: “We are glad to be contributing immensely to capacity building and development of the aviation industry and there is an ongoing effort to further improve and increase the capacity of our engineers to achieve more exploits.”
Theme of the conference was ‘Imperatives of Strong Partnership for a Sustainable Aviation Industry; Recovery from Covid-19 impact”. It was the association’s 15th National Delegate conference, Symposium and awards ceremony.
The National President of NAAPE, Engineer Galadima Abednego while speaking at the event said ”it is my pleasure and delight to present you this Most Innovative Airline Award. This is in recognition of your innovative business strategies and commitment to developing the industry.”
Speaking to newsmen after receiving the award on behalf of Dana Air, Mbanuzuo said, ”I am particularly happy that our quiet effort is being recognized publicly and this award is truly appreciated by the entire team at Dana Air.”
”Also on the innovative side of our operations, we pioneered WhatsApp booking in the industry at the advent of Covid 19, we have a self booking kiosk located at the airport and currently to ensure that we are available to assist our customers round the clock, we have a 24 hours , 7 days customer service.”
”We have created multiple channels for seamless booking and interaction with our guests and we have more in the works. We would continue to offer our guests world class service, safe and timely departures, competitive fares and innovative online products” he added.
