TAAG Angola Airlines Incorporates 4th A220-300 Into Its Fleet

TAAG Angola Airlines has welcomed the latest addition to its fleet, the Airbus A220-300, D2-TAJ, at Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ).

The incorporation of this state-of-the-art aircraft aligns with the airline’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan and deep commitment towards the company’s modernization and transformation journey.

TAAG’s Airbus A220-300 features a total capacity of 137 passengers, configured with 12 seats in Executive Class and 125 in Economy Class. Overall, the aircraft is distinguished by its operational performance, particularly regarding fuel efficiency and greener environmental impact.

With the delivery of the fourth Airbus A220-300, TAAG strengthens its multi-brand strategy. This modern, versatile jet enhances the fleet with superior passenger comfort and convenience, thereby boosting TAAG’s competitiveness and reach for destinations across Africa. This arrival is part of the order cycle with the lessor Air Lease Corporation (ALC) and represents a vital step and support of the company’s ambitious vision for growth in Africa, fulfilling key strategic and corporate values: operational excellence, commercial superiority, and connectivity & hub offering.
