Relocation To MMIA’s New Terminal Was Initially A Phased Plan, Says Ayodele

The General Manager, South West Airports and Airport Manager, Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, Mr. Sunday Ayodele has said that the relocation of international airline operations from the old terminal to the new terminal, which the Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development ordered recently, was initially planned to be done in phases.
Speaking to Aviation Runway on Metro FM Radio, Ayodele explained that the fire incident that occurred at a segment of the old terminal building had eventually forced Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to start speeding up the relocation process.
He advised passengers that come with meeters and greeters into the terminal to go into the terminal building alone and process their travel when they come to travel, rather than come with crowd and encourage congestion challenges.
