Ministry Of Aviation & Aerospace Development Commemorates 2023 Customer Service Week

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Emmanuel Maribole has called on the Ministry’s staff to imbibe the spirit of team work, commitment and desire for customer’s satisfaction at all times.

A statement signed by Margaret Oyinboade, Public Information Officer says the Permanent Secretary stated this at the customer service week organized by the Ministry through the Reform Coordination and Service improvement Department in Abuja.

Speaking further, Meribole said customer service week is an annual event that is celebrated globally in recognition of the centrality of customer’s interest in the provision of services, and the same time, appreciated stakeholders, partners, service providers and clients for their loyalty and commitment in the Ministry’s service.

He said the theme for this year is apt, considering the need to build synergy, collaboration and work together as a government to provide efficient and effective services to Nigerians. He said stakeholders in the aviation sector and others seek for improvement in standard of living in agreement with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the commitment of the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo through his well-articulated 5-Point Agenda set to further improve the Aviation industry.

He implored the staff to go extra mile in meeting the needs and expectations of customer by fast-tracking efforts of the Government in providing improved services to Nigerians. He equally commended the National Coordinator/CEO, SERVICOM and Department of Reform Coordination and Service Improvement of the Ministry for organizing the event.

Earlier, the Director, Reform Coordination and Service Improvement of the Ministry, Mr. Oladipupo Adetunji, in his welcome address urged the staff to pay attention to the resource persons as their presentations will be impactful with requisite knowledge. He encouraged staff to develop attitude needed to work as a team in promoting service delivery in the Ministry.

Delivering her Goodwill message, the National Coordinator/CEO, SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnena Akajemeli, represented by Mrs. Lucy Zako, said the celebration marks critical step for reflection to sustain the citizen focused service delivery in the Ministry in line with the best practice.

She assured of SERVICOM support in ensuring efficient and effective services delivery to Nigerians and stakeholders in the Aviation Sector.
