Industry To Launch Book On Behaviours Behind Aviation Sector’s Performance July 4th
All is set for the launch of the book titled, NIGERIA’S AVIATION SECTOR: PEOPLE, BEHAVIOURS BEHIND THE PERFORMANCES by Albinus Chiedu, which will hold next tomorrow, Thursday, July 4th, 2024 at Golfview Hotels, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos at 11:00hrs.
Expected Guests of Honour at the event include the Acting Director General, Civil Aviation, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Capt. Chris Najomo; Managing Director/CE of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, Engr. Farouk Umar, Chairman, Bicourtney Aviation Services Limited, Dr. Wale Babalakin, Managing Director. SAHCO Plc, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, Group Managing Director of NAHCO Plc, Mr. Indranil Gupta, and many other dignitaries who are expected to grace the book launch.
The Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema is to chair the book launch as the Chief Launcher while and the Chairman of Interguide Group, Dr. Gbenga Olowo and former Chief Executive Officer of Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL), Alhaji (Dr) Oluropo Owolabi will be Co-Chief Launchers.
The book is to be reviewed by Dr. Richard Aisuebeogun, IAP, Ph.D, Air Transport Professional.
The Honourable Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN CON FClarb (UK) is expected to be Special Guest of Honour at the event, while several key stakeholders in Nigeria’s aviation industry are expected to grace the public presentation.
The 11-chapter book is a product of comprehensive research, featuring from a historical perspective, an advocacy for the right behaviours and conduct of individuals in both the public and private segments of Nigeria’s aviation industry, exposing the dangers posed by wrong decisions and actions on the next generation of aviation stakeholders in the country.
