FAAN Promotes Eromosele To General Manager
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has promoted Mrs. Christabel Ebanehita Eromosele to the position of General Manager, Protocol and Passages.
An electronic document made available to journalists by the Directorate of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection of FAAN confirmed the appointment that takes effect from June 2024 following her resounding success in the mandatory management promotion examinations.
Mrs. Eromosele has over the years, been involved in managing the image of FAAN with deftness and dexterity that has positioned the country’s airport management agency as a leading one in Africa.
Prior to her new appointment, Christabel Eromosele acted in the same capacity from January 2024, before her confirmation as the substantive General Manager of the Protocol and Passages Department.
The 1991 graduate of English Language from the famous Ambrose Alli University (formerly Bendel State University), Ekpoma, Edo State, also holds a Masters degree in Public and International Affairs from the prestigious University of Lagos.
She started her career in FAAN as a Grade Level 8 officer in the Public Affairs department in 1993, and through her stint for dedication, hard work, and professionalism, rose to the position of General Manager, Protocol and Passages Department in June, 2024.
She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria, Council for International Protocol Professionals, and Association of Certified Protocol Professionals in Nigeria.
Christabel Eromosele has served in various management committees, including the FAAN National Aviation Committee (FNAC), ACI International Conference Planning Committee, among others.
In the course of her career in FAAN, Christabel has attended training programmes both within and outside of Nigeria. Notable amongst them include the Public Relations Theory and Practice Course organized by GTC Group in London, United Kingdom in the year 2010, the Business Leadership and Diplomatic Protocol Course organized by the European School of Protocol in London, United Kingdom, in 2018 and the African Public Relations Association (APRA)’s Conference in Kigali, Rwanda, in 2019.
Others include participation in the prestigious Airport Council International (ACI)-Development in Customer Services Culture at Airports in Lagos, Nigeria and Crisis Communication Course sponsored by the United Kingdom’s Government, in the year 2021.
