FAAN MD Applauds GTP For Supporting Women In Transport

The Managing Director and Chief Executive of The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku has applauded the invaluable  contributions of GTP as a body in “encouraging and supporting women in the industry while mentoring younger ones to take up career in transport, most especially in aviation business. This is indeed very commendable.”

Delivering her Goodwill Message at the GTP Women In Transport Conference held in Lagos, Kuku who was represented at the event by Mrs. Obiageli Orah, Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection at Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), said: “The theme of your conference this year: Mindset Plus Skillset: Championing Inclusive Agenda for Women in the Nigerian Transport Industry speaks to the need for grooming the right personnel for the sector while calling on women to take their pride of place in the industry.”

She said: “This is a great women advocacy initiative that we all must support. FAAN will continue to support your activities as we strengthen our partnership in order to bequeath a better airport experience to the younger generation.”

Kuku further emphasized FAAN’s determination in providing relevant infrastructure to serve the needs of air travelers in Nigeria and FAAN’s commitment to delivering quality service to all airport users.
