Aerospace University: FMA Presents Concept To NUC

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika says the concept note on the establishment of Aerospace University has been presented to Nigerian University Commission (NUC) for their consideration .while a site has been provided for the school.
In his presentation at the Aviation Stakeholders Forum yesterday, Sirika said the objectives of the university are “to address the problem of dearth of high level management cadre in the
Aviation Industry, to promote Aviation Research and Development
and to bring the Acts in conformity with international standards and best practices in conformity with ICAO SARPs.”
Sirika further said that the development of Aerotropolis and development of cargo/agro-allied airport terminals were at the procurement phase, which is ongoing.
