ASRTI Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Former Assistant General Secretary
A delegation of members of Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI) today paid a condolence visit to the family of its late former Assistance General Secretary, Mr. Henry Iwelumo, who passed away after a protracted illness.
The visit was led by current General Secretary, Mr. Olumide Ohunayo, who was accompanied by Publicity Secretary, Pastor Albinus Chiedu, former General Secretary, Grp. Capt. John Ojikutu (Rtd), Social Media Representative, Mr. Ugo Ndianefo and Mrs. Adeshiwa Dada.
The team was received by two of Iwelumo’s children, Mrs. Nkem and Mr. Azuka Iwelumo. Speaking on behalf of the team, Mr. Ohunayo encouraged them to take heart and remain strong as they plan for the service of songs holding at Lydia Hall & Events Centre, Ojodu Berger, Lagos on Thursday, October 8, 2026 and the final interment scheduled to hold at Issele-Uku in Delta State on October 16th.
The family was presented with a condolence letter and received prayers led by Pastor Chiedu for divine comfort and success of the burial rites.
73 year old Henry Iwelumo was a very committed member of ASRTI before he died of rectal cancer.
