FAAN Installs Check-In, Screening Equipment At Airports

In a bid to address recent challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja respectively, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has procured additional 15 security screening machines for installation at the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
A statement signed by Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN says
“the equipment required for addressing these challenges have arrived Nigeria and are already being installed. Also, additional 15 security screening machines have been procured for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. They are also been installed already.
The Authority is using this opportunity to appeal to all stakeholders to please bear with us while the installation would last, as all hands are on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project.”
