NCAA, IATA Discuss Collaboration

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) have held discussions on various areas of collaboration in a strategic meeting to help grow the industry.

The strategic meeting between the Acting Director General Nigeria Civil Aviation (Ag. DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo and the leadership of IATA led by its Regional Vice President for Africa & Middle East, Mr. Kamil H. Al-Awadhi was held at the Authority’s Headquarters in Abuja.

Among the top priorities discussed were delivering on core mandatory requirement as Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), cost-recovery, head cost, ticket cost and provision of both IATA and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) training and retraining for the staff.

Capt. Najomo expressed NCAA’s readiness for the partnership.
