TAAG, Habana Forwarding Celebrate Partnership To Foster Cargo Business

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Friday September 20 at TAAG’s headquarters in Luanda, representing the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Miguel Carneiro.

Following TAAG Angolan Airlines’ commercial strategy to develop the cargo segment, the airline has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Habana Forwarding.

With this agreement, which is renewable annually, TAAG will become the first choice operator for Habana Forwarding, regarding cargo import & export on the Luanda-Lisbon and Luanda-Havana routes. The scope and destinations may evolve to other locations operated by TAAG, namely within the Americas, Africa and Europe. This partnership will empower TAAG’s position as a facilitator of international trade while leveraging the potential of Luanda/Angola as a hub.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Miguel Carneiro, TAAG’s Chief Commercial Officer, and Cenén Portuindo Hernández, Chairman of Habana Forwarding.

Overall, this agreement is aligned with the airline´s strategic vision of progressively increasing the market share concerning the regional and intercontinental air cargo marketplace.
