NAMA MD’s Facebook Account Hacked
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection (DPA), Alhaji Abdullah Musa says the Facebook account belonging to the Managing Director/Chief Executive (MD/CE) Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has been hacked.
The compromised account is associated with the username [email protected] and this breach poses serious concerns about potential fraudulent activities the hackers may conduct. Alhaji Abdullah Musa underscores the need for heightened vigilance among the public to guard against scams, misinformation, and other malicious activities by the hackers.
Musa says the potential risks is that the incident may result in false information, fraudulent solicitations, or other harmful actions by the hackers, advising the public to verify the authenticity of any communication or request from this Facebook account and to “Avoid engaging with suspicious posts, messages, or requests for personal information or financial transactions.”
He equally urges members of the public to report any suspicious activity or communication to the relevant authorities immediately.
