Minister Keyamo Launches Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy At Dubai
Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Barrister Festus Keyamo (SAN), representing President Bola Tinubu, delivered a pivotal presentation at the African Pavilion during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28 UAE) in Dubai, highlighting Nigeria’s commitment to a comprehensive transition from fossil fuels to low-emission fuel across all sectors of the economy.
A statement signed by Gbenga Saka, Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development says in a moment of privilege and honour, Keyamo officially launched Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy, a document that serves as a testament to the nation’s unwavering dedication to achieving sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
“The event marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s pursuit of a low-carbon future. The Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to global climate efforts and thanked all involved for their support in this crucial initiative,” said Saka.
