Air Traffic Controllers Assemble To Weigh Energy Crisis’ Impact On Aviation Sector
The Nigerian Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) is to hold its 51st Annual General Meeting and Conference with a theme, X-raying The Energy Crisis As It Affects The Aviation Industry And The Quest For Sustainable Growth.
According to a statement from the National President of NATCA, Mr Abayomi Agoro, the Oyo State governor, H.E Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde and the Hon Minister of Aviation,Sen Hadi Sirika are the special guests of honour while His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Olalekan Ishola Balogun, the Olubadan of Ibadan will be the royal father of the day.
The Chief Host of the programme is the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Mr. Matthew Pwajok.
Prof Anthony Kila will be the chairman of the occasion while the former Managing Director of the NAMA, Capt Fola Akinkuotu and Mr Albert Aidoo Taylor of the ICAO Regional office Dakar, will be guests of honour.
Other co-hosts include, Director General of NCAA, Capt Musa Nuhu, FAAN MD, Rabiu Yadudu, AIB boss, Akin Olateru, NiMet boss, Prof Bako Mansur Matazu and NCAT Rector Capt Modibbo Alkali Mahmud
The Guest Speakers are Capt Mshelia, Mr Omokide and Alh Haske J. Agoro disclosed that the 51st AGM which comes up from September 28th to 29th will assemble Captains of industry and aviation stakeholders in Kakanfo Inn and Suite, off Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
