FAAN Management Positions Port-Harcourt Airport For World Class Passenger Experience
In a significant step towards enhancing passenger comfort and service excellence, Port Harcourt International Airport (PHIA) has commenced the replacement of old, outdated and damaged passenger seats across the entire terminal building, beginning with the 2nd Arrival Hall of the Domestic Wing.
Beyond the replacement of seats, this initiative reflects the deliberate efforts and innovation of FAAN Management, ably led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, to progressively transform the airport environment and elevate PHIA towards world-class standards in passenger experience, comfort and operational excellence.
The upgraded seating facilities will provide passengers with a more comfortable, dignified and functional environment, while improving the overall ambience and quality of the terminal experience. It also demonstrates FAAN’s recognition that operational excellence extends beyond efficient processes to include the physical environment in which passengers experience the airport.
According to the Regional General Manager South-South Mrs Ezike I.L, IAP, FNIM, the initiative reinforces FAAN’s strategic commitment to Customer-Centric Service Delivery, Operational Excellence and continuous infrastructure improvement, recognizing that quality of a passenger’s experience is shaped not only by efficient operations but also by comfort and functionality of the facilities provided. Every intervention is designed to create greater value and satisfaction for the travelling public.
This is more than replacing old and broken chairs; it is an investment in passenger comfort, service quality, confidence and the evolving image of PHIA.
At PHIA, FAAN Management continues to improve, innovate, and deliver one passenger experience at a time. The transformation is deliberate, progressive and passenger-focused FAAN is Transforming Spaces, PHIA is raising the standards while the passengers are at the heart of It all.
