Njoku, NAMA GM Commits To Advancing Opportunities For Women

The General Manager of Public Affairs at the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and President of Women in Aviation (WIA), Glowing Wings Chapter, Mrs.Evelyn Njoku says she remains “deeply committed to advancing opportunities for women, mentoring the next generation, and ensuring that young girls see aviation not as a distant dream but as a field where they can thrive and lead.”

‎In her International Women’s Day Message, Njoku said “today, as the world marks International Women’s Day, I stand proud not only as a professional in the aviation industry but as a woman who believes strongly in the limitless strength, intelligence, and resilience of women.‎

‎Women have continued to rise, lead, and transform industries that once seemed unreachable. In aviation especially, we are proving every day that competence, vision, and leadership know no gender. From the control towers to boardrooms, from engineering to public affairs, women are shaping the future of our skies.”

‎She further said “International Women’s Day is not just a celebration. It is a reminder that equality, respect, and opportunity must continue to be defended and expanded. When women rise, industries grow stronger, communities become better, and nations move forward.‎

‎To every woman breaking barriers, balancing responsibilities, and lifting others along the way, I celebrate your courage and determination. ‎Let us continue to support one another, open doors for the next generation, and build a future where every woman can soar without limits.”
